Measure is a privacy-first analytics platform. We do not use cookies. We do not collect personal data from your website visitors. We do not sell or share data with third parties. We do not track individuals across websites.
What We Collect From Your Visitors
When someone visits a website using Measure's tracking snippet, we collect:
- Page URL (without query parameters containing personal data)
- Referrer domain (not the full referrer URL)
- Browser and operating system (from the User-Agent header)
- Country-level location (derived from IP address, which is then discarded)
- Screen size category (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- UTM campaign parameters
We do not collect:
- IP addresses (used only for country lookup, then immediately discarded)
- Cookies or local storage identifiers
- Browser fingerprints
- Personal data of any kind
- Cross-site tracking data
What We Collect From Account Holders
When you create a Measure account, we collect:
- Email address (for authentication and communication)
- Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — we never see your full card number)
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain the analytics service
- Process payments
- Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
- Respond to support requests
Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Postmark — transactional email delivery
We do not use any advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated analytics data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Your Rights
You can:
- Access all your analytics data via the dashboard or API
- Export your data at any time
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
GDPR Compliance
Because we do not collect personal data from website visitors, Measure does not require a cookie consent banner under GDPR. See our GDPR Compliance page for details.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
